Friends of ours daughter (that we have known for 12 years) has finally made it to manager at our local KFC.

She gave us a heap of the hot n spicy fillets as they over ordered again.

They come prepacked with 10 to a bag and are identical in shape and size.

This is the same marinade that is used on the wicked wings. I have to ask her about what coating goes on the wicked wings as I really like them.

I used my own original recipe on these which hubby and my dad loved and they came out so juicy which is rare for breast fillets.

We tried washing out the marinade to use the fillets without so much oomph but it doesn't work.

Anyway, just wanted to share this with you.

Hey, that's very interesting my friend Wink I believe that KFC Corp injects the chicken with the marinade nowadays... which might explain why it can't be "washed off" Wink

Would she give you some of the O.R Spices?! ... Or... I know! An Official KFC O.R Flour Bag! Now THAT would be interesting to see. The ingredients list in particular...

Thanks for dropping in again BeckinOz. Nice to see you Smile

Hi Colonel,

I am always lurking around here and was surprised that you were gone for so long, it was worrying.

I have asked her before about getting me some of the breading mix (I believe there is two bags mixed together) but she has only just made it to manager and I would hate for her to lose her job.

If there is anything you would like me to ask her just let me know and I'll speak to her. Half the time I have had too many VB's to remember anything she tells me in the morning Embarassed but I remember that she told me that the chicken goes into the pressure fryer at 175 C.
