OLD FASHIONED HUCKLEBERRY CAKE

1 Egg, beaten
2/3 Cups Sugar gradually beaten into the egg until light

Sift together -

2 Tsp. Baking Powder
1 1/2 Cups Cake Flour
1/2 Tsp. Salt

Add the flour to the egg and Sugar Alternately with 1/3 Cup of Milk

Then Add -

3 Tbs. Butter and
1 Tsp. Vanilla or Almond
1 1/2 Cups Berries

Beat well, then fold in the berries. Pour into an 8" cake pan and bake at 400 degrees F about 40 minutes or test done.
