Some Discrepancies between the same Colonel Sanders recipes.

COLONEL SANDERS 20 FAVORITE RECIPES

These recipes came from a booklet titled, "Colonel Sanders 20 Favorite Recipes", put out by Colonel Sanders and KFC in 1954. (some say 1964)

In recent times...KFC has published the Autobiography of colonel Sanders titled "The Autobiography of the original Celebrity Chef"

Quote:
KFC has announced that Colonel Harland Sanders: The Autobiography of the Original Celebrity Chef – written in 1966

I have noticed discrepancies between the same "COLONEL SANDERS 20 FAVORITE RECIPES" vs "Colonel Harland Sanders: The Autobiography of the Original Celebrity Chef"

Remember, the Colonel was alive when his 20 recipe book came out.

[stringbean] Where is the brown sugar?

Good pickup String...

I would put more faith in the recipes from Colonel Sanders 20 favourite recipes... It would seem that the Corp has somewhat "revised" some of his recipes for "modern" tastes...

Although, apparently the second book was written anywhere up to 15 years AFTER the first booklet, so it is possible that Colonel Sanders changed/updated the recipes himself...

It's difficult to say.

Keep up the great work, my friend.

TC
