We're ahead of the game... after we get the Secret Recipe... this is next! lol

Enjoy!

Ellsworth

Big Mac Special Sauce
1/4 cup KRAFT Miracle Whip
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons, heaping, WISHBONE deluxe French salad dressing (the orange stuff)
1/2 tablespoon HEINZ sweet relish
2 teaspoons, heaping, VLASIC dill pickle relish (Heinz dill relish also works)
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon dried, minced onion
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon ketchup
1/8 teaspoon salt

Mix everything very well in a small container. There better be no streaks! Microwave 25 seconds, and stir well
again. Cover, and refrigerate at LEAST 1 hour before using. (to allow all of the flavors to "meld") Makes nearly
1 cup… enough for about 8 Big Macs™.

Aww mate... Again, some of my fondest childhood memories are of going to our local "Maccas" and chowing down on a huge Big Mac... Well... they were HUGE when I was a kid!

Now, the meat patties taste like they're boiled rather than grilled! and the Big Macs might as well be called "Small Macs"!!!

Yes, Ellsworth! Perhaps after we crack the O.R code we can tackle McDonalds! However, what I do know of "Mickey Dee's" (as you American's call it), is that there are two main aspects for the perfection of it's food product:

1. The cooking methods, and 2. the quality of the ingredients.

Except for some of the sauces there are no "real" McDonald's "secrets" Wink

I often recreate Quarter Pounders at home with ease, and regularly get told that they are waaaaaaaaay more authentic than the Maccas of today! Oh, and homemade fries the old fashioned McDonald's way (i.e. with beef tallow and corn syrup!) are simply AWESOME!

I can't begin to tell you HOW MANY Big Macs I have made and served
to customers (hint: 1978 when Koch was still alive!) and so I know
what the real thing was back then. My mom loved Big Macs and
we would take a trip to McDonalds just so she would get her Big Mac.

By the way, a woman named Shirley posted this on my website so
she gets full credit for this recipe (unless she borrowed it from
someone else).

My favorite was the Quarter Pounder and Cheese. Nothing like
a fresh Quarter Pounder and Cheese for lunch, dinner and hey
if I could for breakfast! Now you open the box and it's... Where's the beef!"

Yeah... times has changed and so did the food, service and probably
the cleanliness in these establishments! Yikes! Shocked

So that is why, I want to cook the 11 Herbs and Spices in the privacy
of my home in my kitchen so I can be happy again. Cool

Correction:

Actually, I posted this recipe COMPLETE with sandwich procedure and all at the aforementioned site. Among many other faves. Unless it was a duplicate post? Yeah right.

Only mentioning this now because I have the ENTIRE McD's menu recipes and process for those who are interested. Yum yum.

ps. McChicken sandwich with the O.R. mix? Oh yeaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!

pps. Filet 'O' Fish with the O.R. mix? *I just fainted*

Post away KK! Smile

McDonalds ("Maccas" here in Australia), is another Corporation whose food USE to be awesome! But alas, the Big Macs are no longer "big", and the fries are too "politically correct" & health conscious now, to be using "beef tallow", as they use too Sad

As for the O.R Spice mix (Our AUTHENTIC version of course!) on chicken burgers, then YES! It's bloody awesome stuff! We had this very meal just last night, and I still can't get over how delicious it was...

Hey! Perhaps I might start working on the Coke formula next! lol Very Happy

TRC,
You missed this quote..........
"If your here with me in this box, six feet under, no reason to care about bizness" Ed

PS. What's that got to do with matching MacD's special sauce anyway? Dave Thomas didn't stop with Chicken!
And The Gino's "Giant" sauce came first! EOS!
